Tiger: is already on the comeback trail going -1 thru three today. He is just four strokes off the lead right now and something tells me he will be in contention for the final 18 tomorrow. Vijay Singh is quietly putting himself in position to be atop the leaderboard at Augusta as well.

NYY: The Yanks could be the New York team that people said would have pitching problems as they are going to have to win a lot of high scoring ball games to be succesful. I am not a Kei Igawa fan and I do ont believe Pavano can succeed in the majors this season. Mussina got hit hard and Pettite was not much better as neither pitcher got out of the fifth inning. With a bullpen that has just one or two reliable arms in front of Mariano, this Yankees team could need a career year from A-rod, Giambi, Abreu, and Matsui to have any chance of competing with the Red Sox this season.

Mets are 4-0 and as Dan Shanoff said this morning, they look like a team on a mission. Thank the schedule gods for starting this season against the team that eliminated them as Willie might not admit it but that juiced them eup (No PUN intended) to start the year after an awful spring.

In the AL Vladimir Guerrero was my MVP choice for the league and so far he has validated my selection. That team has a lot of young talent and they can be a major force come playoff time.

Will be back with more later.
