Gillespie to Kentucky- Well that did not take long and I am curious to know how angry A&M people must be seeing as he did promise he would be staying in College Station. Here is something I do not get; WHY WOULD A&M LET HIM TLAK TO KENTUCKY. THEY HAD THE RIGHT TO SAY NO THANKS WE WANT HIM TO STAY AND CONTINUE REBUILDING WHAT WAS AN AWFUL PROGRAM JUST THREE-FOUR YEARS AGO, BUT KNOW THEY LET HIM GET AWAY!!!!
Dice K: lived up to the hype-A. Could not resist. He was stellar but again it is the Royals so let me see what happens when he plays the Yankees in the Bronx or even at Fenway against an improved Mariner team next wednesday. Nonetheless after one game the 6 yrs for 103 mil look like a decent investment when you consider the amount of money dished out to other average pitchers.
Tiger: After a sub-par day one he has regressed even more on day two. Have we not learned by now that Tiger is trying to create a larger margin between him and the leader so his sunday afternoon back nine performance can be that much more impressive when he comes back to win the Masters. Been here done that. And while I have your attention with golf how about Phil Mickelson. I am determined to beieve his struggle stems from his lack of Ford apparel and expect him to bust out with the motto on his shirt Sunday with a polo shirt that says "built Ford tough" on the back.
Carr: He is a panther, and I presume he will be the starter there before week 7. Delhomme struggled mightily last year and has never been ever to "delhomme" quite like Boomer has wanted.
